New 150-ton per day (TPD) milk powder and baby food plant for Banas Dairy
Project Overview
The plant is designed to handle a 150-ton powder capacity and will produce high-value products, including skimmed milk powder (SMP), whole milk powder (WMP), dairy whitener, and baby food.
This expansion is aimed at boosting the processing capacity of Asia's largest milk-producing dairy (Banas Dairy) and helping convert surplus milk into high-value products.
The foundation stone was laid alongside the inauguration of a new Bio-CNG and Fertilizer plant in the Vav-Tharad area, reinforcing a focus on a "circular economy" in the dairy sector.
